The oil filter housing uses a rubber profile gasket and over time it hardens and leaks. When trying to locate the source of an oil leak, always start at the top of the engine, locate any oil covered areas, the cleanest oil covered area is likely the source of leak. You will need the oil filter housing profile gasket, and housing fasteners. Place an oil drain pan under left side of engine.Relieve cooling system pressure by opening reservoir cap.Loosen oil filter housing lid until you can see sealing O-ring .Loosen oil filter housing lid until you can see sealing O-ring. This allows oil in filter housing and filter to drain into engine oil pan.
Using a small flathead screwdriver, unclip upper radiator hose retainer and remove hose from oil filter housing.  Using a small flathead screwdriver, unclip upper radiator hose retainer and remove hose from oil filter housing. Remove E10 oil filter housing fastener.

Pull oil filter housing away from engine and remove.Thoroughly clean oil filter housing mounting surface.Thoroughly clean oil filter housing mounting surface. Place on workbench, then using a small flathead screwdriver remove seal.

Install oil filter housing fasteners in previous locations. Tighten oil filter housing fasteners in a crisscross pattern. Reconnect oil switch electrical connector. Then reassemble engine in reverse order of procedure. Remember to top up engine oil and check for oil leaks when complete. Top up engine oil, fill and bleed cooling system.
